Old or new?

My town is an old town. It has got a rich history... that's why it quite easy to find many materials about it. The film below is an example of it. It is a film that presents Nysa in old postcards. What about your towns? Are they new or old? Please write in the comments

    At the beginning of the 10th century Gniezno was the site of several places sacred to the Slavic ( pogan) religion , but are archaeological traces of human settlement since the late Paleolithic.
    On May 27, 1819, there was a fire in the house of Ick Ephraim . 245 buildings burned down... The reconstruction of the town was completed in 1824.
